Rosie Lambert is a highly-experienced criminal defence lawyer with more than 15 years working in criminal law. During that time she has represented clients in the Local, District, Supreme and Children’s courts in many locations as diverse as Sydney city, Walgett, Waverley, Parramatta, Fairfield, Campbelltown, Nowra and Jervis Bay. She also spent three years (2012-2015) running the Sexual Assault Communications Privilege Service at Legal Aid NSW, a specialised field advocating for the privacy of health records of sexual assault witnesses.
Rosie has been a NSW Law Society Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law since2007, which requires stringent assessment and ongoing development of this specialty. Clients can have confidence that Rosie has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of criminal law, and her vigorous and fearless court advocacy for her clients is of the highest quality. Rosie is the only officially accredited specialist in Criminal Law in the Shoalhaven region.
In working for her clients, Rosie thrives on thoroughly preparing a case, explaining all the options, and then pursuing her client’s cause with determined and fearless advocacy before the Magistrate or Judge. Rosie is a passionate adherent of the presumption of innocence. She is a fierce opponent when fighting hard for the rights of an individual who is facing prosecution.
In sentencing matters, Rosie is a skilful persuader who can convey an empathetic and compassionate understanding of human imperfection, and present an evenhanded case for rehabilitation and mercy.
Rosie is now based in Nowra NSW, appearing locally and in surrounding areas, including the Southern Highlands (Moss Vale) and Wollongong (including Albion Park and Port Kembla) and Jervis Bay.
Mark Lambert handles all the administration and IT support. Whilst he has a background in IT he has worked in the liquor and security industries for many years and has at various times managed pubs, nightclubs and has been the licensee for several music festivals.
